Student ServicesService Desk: The service desk serves the George Fox community by answering technical questions, troubleshooting computer problems, and repairing problematic systems. Support/Repairs: The IT department provides support and repair of all university-issued computers free of charge. Services for all other computers are subject to an hourly rate. Computer labs: George Fox provides several computer labs for use by students and faculty for projects, work, or just checking e-mail depending on the lab (the CAI lab is included here). CAC: The Computers Across Curriculum (CAC) program is offered to all incoming undergraduate students who attend George Fox. IMS: The Instructional Media Services (IMS) center serves the technology needs for our classrooms. AV equipment, cameras, and other equipment can be checked out with instructors' approval. Audio and video duplication is also available (approved media only, no copyrighted equipment). Campus Residential Network: The George Fox campus network provides students with full-time, high-speed access to the Internet and Foxmail. There are multiple access points, including student housing and most other buildings. In additional several building offer wireless access. |
